Kate's artistic journey is one of spontaneity and intuition. Her work is a vibrant interpretation of moments captured on canvas, where each stroke of the brush builds upon multiple layers, creating a rich harmony of textures and imagery. 

Inspired by her surroundings, Kate finds constant sources of creativity in her home, garden, and the natural environment that envelopes her. From the tranquil beauty of rural landscapes to the intricate details of everyday objects, Kate's art reflects the harmony and rhythm of the world around her.

Kate Vella's artistic journey reached new heights with her debut solo exhibition in Sydney in 2019. Since then, she has captivated audiences with numerous solo shows, curated by the esteemed Amber Creswell Bell, at the renowned Michael Reid Berrima and Northern Beaches Galleries.

In addition to her solo exhibitions, Kate has been an active participant in various group shows and collaborations. Notable among these are her contributions to the ACB Selects Group Show in 2021 and her collaboration with Country Style Magazine and Michael Reid, Murrurundi Gallery for both 2021 and 2022. These engagements have further enriched Kate's artistic repertoire and allowed her to connect with diverse audiences.
